‘Knights Of The Old Republic’ Game Update

Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most famous games in the history of Star Wars. There has been much talk for a long time on a remake however that seems to have hit another snag. Several inside sources, from Jeff Grub to Insider Gaming, have said that the Embracer group, the owners of the video game studio that was tasked to do a remake, seems to have pulled the plug on the project at least for now.

Whether or not a Knights of the Old Republic remake will happen is hard to say. In terms of it being made by Embracer Group as of now, it seems that is off the cards, at least to those ‘in the know’.

‘Fantastic Four’ Casting Rumors

It seems like it has been announcement after announcement regarding the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. One of the rumors was that the cast would be announced after the SAG-AFTRA strike ended. It’s been a few weeks now since the end, and there is still no official announcement. However, there are some new rumors when it comes to the cast.

One of the most recent rumors is that Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. Some publications even claimed it was official, but no official announcement has been made. It would definitely be an interesting choice for the character. Marvel would also have to work around Pedro’s hectic schedule in 2024. He will be filming for Ridley Scott’s upcoming Gladiator 2 and season 2 of The Last Of Us.

A new rumor is that Javier Bardem is being eyed for the role of Galactus. This is definitely interesting, as earlier in the year, it was rumored that Antonio Banderas was being eyed for the role. Both could be true, and we won’t officially know until an announcement is made. Finally, Mads Mikkelsen is supposedly being eyed for Doctor Doom. It's reported that Marvel Studios recently met with him to discuss the role.

New rumors seem to come out regarding this movie every week, so it's hard to know what to trust. I wouldn’t take anyone’s announcement seriously until Marvel says something themselves, and for that, we will just have to wait.
