The state of Star Wars gaming is very much in flux, with the recent cancellation of the Star Wars FPS game, other Star Wars games are in question. According to rumors a Star Wars RTS game also being created by Respawn Studios still, as of this moment, is in development, whether or not it will make it to the finish line is hard to say, but hopefully, it will, allowing fans to play.

1. 'Assassin’s Creed Red' Will Utilize A Battle Pass

Assassin’s Creed Red is the upcoming game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Not a lot is known at this time regarding the game, besides the setting, which will take place in Japan. New rumors come out every day in regards to the game, with one of the most recent, and most important in my opinion, being that the game will feature Shiba Inu dogs, and they will be pettable. A new rumor hints that a battle pass will be used in the upcoming game.
Insider Gaming has revealed more about the live service hub, called Assassin’s Creed Infinity which will release alongside the upcoming game. The live-service hub will offer various elements for the game, including a battle pass, something that single-player games don’t often see. The battle pass will enable players to purchase smaller stories to play, with a cosmetic reward for completion.
Battle passes aren’t harmful, but many fans are not fond of them, as they feel like they can take away elements from the game that should be free. Fans have wanted an Assassin’s Creed game set in Japan for some time, so hopefully the inclusion of a battle-pass won’t ruin the experience.
