3. Jon Bernthal Will Play A Major Role In ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

With the WGA strike almost over and writers going back to work (ratification still pending), and SAG-AFTRA’s talks with the AMPTP nearing a similar stage, information is starting to roll out about projects that were put on hold during the stoppages.

According to the Direct, one piece of that information concerns Jon Bernthal’s role in the reboot of Daredevil and its introduction into the MCU. They report that a copyright listing for the first episode lists Jon Berthal’s Frank Castle in part of the description in the third spot behind Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Carlie Cox of course plays the titular blind hero Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio plays crime boss Kingpin.

The description of plot describes that both Daredevil and Wilson Fisk try to leave behind their other lives to serve New York, but they’re haunted by their pasts. It’s also known that Wilson Fisk is supposedly vying for the position of mayor of New York City, so that is likely to play a role as well. If The Punisher is indeed a part of the equation, it promises to make their interactions something to see. There is also the possibility of Hawkeye and Kate Bishop joining the situation, as Kingpin made an appearance in the show as the big bad.

With all this possibility, Daredevil: Born Again has the potential to be a thrilling show.

2. ‘Fantastic Four’ Casting Rumors

With SAG-AFTRA still on strike, a lot of the announcements for future casting are still up in the air. However, that might be coming to an end as the actors and studios are negotiating. Because of this, some directors have come out and said that future casting announcements for up-and-coming movies are coming soon.

According to director Matt Shakman the cast of the Fantastic Four will be announced as soon as the strike has ended. Not only that it seems that the rumor is that Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn have been considered for the roles of Sue and Johnny Storm. This is all according to a report from Collider.

Hopefully, the strikes will end and there will be new casting rumors in the weeks and months ahead.

1. A ‘LEGO Star Wars’ Darth Revan Set Will Be Released in 2024

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic is one of the most beloved Star Wars games. The original came out in 2005, and fans have wanted a remake for newer consoles. For a while, there was news that a remake was in the works and that it would be coming out in the next few years. However, the game has been switching studios and is now in limbo. Sony has hidden the remake announcement trailer, but Sony says that the game is still coming. However, all may not be lost for KOTOR fans, as a new leak has revealed that a new Lego set will reveal Darth Revan.

According to reliable leaker, Renown, a new LEGO set featuring Darth Revan will be coming in 2024. It is unknown what the LEGO set will contain, besides Revan himself. Some theories are that he will be in The Acolyte, the upcoming Star Wars show on Disney+, so the set could be based on that, or another theory is that it could just be a LEGO battle pack, which would include Fives, Revan, and Malak. However, none of these theories have been confirmed.

If the leaker remains reliable, KOTOR fans might not have to wait much longer for some new KOTOR material, even if it is in the form of a LEGO set.
