3. Karen Page And Foggy Nelson’s Absence Will Be A Key Plot Point In Daredevil: Born Again
Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are both returning to the Disney+ Daredevil series, Daredevil: Born Again. Both actors will be reprising their roles as Matt Murdoch/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin. However, it was announced that Deborah Ann-Woll and Elden Henson will not be reprising their roles as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson in the upcoming series. According to a new rumor, their absence is going to be a major plot point in the series.
Foggy and Karen are key characters in Matt Murdoch's story. They played a big role in his life in both the comics and the Netflix series. According to some, many feel like their absence would be like a Spider-Man movie with no Aunt May or Mary Jane. However, Murphy’s Multiverse has stated that their absence will be a key point in the series and that Elden may potentially be returning for a flashback scene, early in the show.
While it’s a bummer that these characters won’t be in the first season of the show, their absence will be felt and could open the door for them to appear in future seasons. The series has been kept under wraps so far, and it is unknown what the opening arc of the series may be, but some speculate it might deal with Wilson Fisk’s war on Vigilantes. Once more comes about the show, it will be interesting to see just how much their absence affects the show.

2. Star Wars Novel Codename Possibly Revealed
The Star Wars galaxy is not just one of TV shows and films, it’s filled with books, comics, and other bits of media that make for this delicious franchise. With Ahsoka on the way, the rumor mill is pretty dried when it comes to on-screen material. However, that doesn’t mean that in the realm of publishing, there aren’t a few tidbits from the all-mighty grapevine for one to pick up on if one knows where to look.
According to Random House Word (Formly Del Rey publishing), there are reports that they will publish an adult Star Wars novel on April 9th of 2024 codenamed Denver. Nothing else is known about it, but there are a few possible ideas on what this could be. The most basic guess would be it is part of the ongoing High Republic initiative. Of course, this could also just be another stand-alone novel that Star Wars makes from time to time dealing with new and interesting characters.
Keep a look for any possible Star Wars novel announcements, you never know what sort of story they might tell. For even a book can take someone to that galaxy far far away.

1. Santa Monica Studios Seems To Be Hiring For The Next God Of War
***Spoilers Ahead***
Less than a year after the release of God of War: Ragnarok, it seems that Sony-partnered development house Santa Monica Studios is already getting the groundwork going on the next game.
Culture Crave posted a link to a job posting from the studio looking for a Combat Engineer. This wouldn’t normally draw attention, but in the requirements for the job is a point that states the applicant needs to have deep knowledge of both God of War and God of War: Ragnarok regarding its combat systems and mechanics, as well as enemies.
The question remains, what will the next story be about? Without giving away too much, the ending of Ragnarok concludes the Norse mythology arc of the series. That leaves fans with a bunch of questions as to where the series will go next. Many suspect it will be Egypt. While it’s possible, it would keep the mythology centered around the European and Mediterranean theater that it has been so far. In today’s climate, it might serve to broaden the scope and explore some of the mythology in other locales. The game and its style mesh well with Meso-American mythology, which would be a breath of fresh air for the gaming world.
It’s early in the development cycle of a game, so it’s likely some time before we see more information on the game, but this is a promising sign.
