The rumors aren’t yet confirmed, but it’s still an interesting concept: Creative Assembly may be working on Total War: Star Wars. DualShockers reports that this game has been in development since October 2023, alongside three other games from the British developer. None of these reports state which of the three games is further along in their development timeline, so no one has any projected release date for this Total War: Star Wars. The concept of a Star Wars strategy game is nothing new, LucasArts has published several, such as Star Wars: Rebellion and Empire at War. It’s been reported that Bit Reactor is developing a turn-based strategy game in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment.

Creative Assembly is a developer based in the UK. In addition to their Total War series, which combines elements of real-time and turn-based strategy games, CA is also known for developing Alien: Isolation, a survival horror game set in 20th Century Studios’s Alien universe. Creative Assembly, a part of Sega Europe since 2005, has been in the business for 37 years. We will be watching their careers with great interest, as we discover what new projects they are working on. For now, it is time to return to the Unknown Regions of the Internet.
