'The Eras' Concert Tour Film Set To Stream On Disney + Next Month
Taylor Swift has enjoyed time in the spotlight with her Eras Tour movie, which was released in theaters last October, and her relationship with Superbowl champion Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. Now the singer has signed a lucrative deal with Disney.
Disney will pay Swift $75 million for exclusive rights to stream the Eras Tour concert film on Disney Plus. The Disney Plus version will include five songs not in the original film including “Cardigan” and “Folklore” and will show the entire concert. This special version will be called Taylor Swift: The Era Tour (Taylor’s Version).

The original film earned $261.7 million dollars and had a run-time of 2 hours and 45 minutes. With the added content, Disney’s version will likely exceed 3 hours. Disney CEO Bob Iger shared his excitement for the deal, “We know audiences are going to absolutely love the chance to relive the electrifying Taylor Swift: Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) whenever they want on Disney Plus.”
The extended Taylor Swift concert film comes to Disney Plus on March 15. With Swift’s increasing popularity and ability to bring uninterested viewers to the NFL, Disney probably figures an exclusive extended Taylor Swift concert can land them some new subscribers.
