'Hoppers' Is Pixar's Newest Film, That Was Revealed During D23
Pixar Animation Studios has a new film in the works, and it’s been revealed at D23. Hoppers is the story of a human and a beaver who exchange brains, similar concepts have been used before by Pixar. A clip of the film was shown off, in which two scientists inform a young woman named Mabel (voiced by Piper Curda) that they want to put her brain inside King George the Beaver (Bobby Moynihan), which is then followed by a scene of the Beaver running around. In addition to these two cast members, Jon Hamm has also been cast in an undisclosed role.
Pixar has been making movies for almost 40 years now, most of which have been distributed by Disney. This new film is one of four films that are scheduled for release by the company, alongside Elio and The Incredibles 3 and Toy Story 5. They also have several other films in development, which are based on original ideas. Pixar has been a powerhouse for Disney, as the recent success of Inside Out 2 has proven. No one knows where this company is going next, but it looks like a great future for them and their employees.
