Even in the age of streaming and on-demand services, media and content access is not concrete. Disney has recently proven this statement; the company is looking to cut a handful of programs from its streaming platforms. As reported by Vulture, programs from both Hulu and Disney+ will be cut as early as May 26, with the total coming in at around 100.

The following list, according to Vulture, includes the confirmed shows to be removed thus far: Be Our Chef, Best In Dough, Best In Snow, Big Shot, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, Dollface, Earth To Ned, Everything’s Trash, Foodtastic, Willow, It’s a Dog’s Life With Bill Farmer, Little Demon, Love In The Time Of Corona, Maggie, Magic Camp, The Making Of Willow, The Mysterious Benedict Society, The One And Only Ivan, Pistol, The Premise, The Quest, Stuntman, Timmy Failure, Wolfgang, The World According To Jeff Goldblum, and Y: The Last Man.

This list is not concrete, plans can change at any time and content can be added or removed from the tally. The documentary Howard was on the list; however, according to Deadline, it will remain on Disney+ after heavy backlash for the action. The film tells the story of Howard Ashman, a gay man, and lyricist who helped write the songs for the animated version of The Little Mermaid, and the drive behind the Disney Renaissance.

The end of total access is not necessarily set in stone; while Disney stepped away from licensing out their content in favor of their own platform, a fair amount of time has passed since then. Time will tell, but licensing is a possibility seeing as the deals were successful enough in the past. Until then, the content will be officially unavailable. A finalized list has not been released at this time.
