Vanessa And Colossus Join The MCU With Return Of Morena Baccarin And Stefan Kapicic In 'Deadpool 3'

The Merc with a Mouth is gearing up to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and he’s brought some friends with him. Ryan Reynolds is set to reprise his role as Deadpool in the third film which, thanks to Disney’s acquisition of Fox, will be connected to the larger MCU. Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic will return to play Vanessa and Colossus. Other returning actors include Karan Soni as Dopinder and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al.
Leading the new cast of characters is Hugh Jackman, once again playing the role of Wolverine, along with Emma Corrin as an unnamed villain and Matthew Macfayden with an unknown role. Shawn Levy will direct Deadpool 3 with Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese, and Zeb Wells handling the script. To help incorporate the film into the MCU, Kevin Feige is teaming up with Team Deadpool to help Wade Wilson find his place in the MCU’S multiverse.

Other Marvel projects, like Ms. Marvel and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, have hinted at the existence of mutants in the MCU. When Deadpool, along with Wolverine and Colossus, join the wider cinematic universe, Marvel will have a chance to bring the mutant story to the forefront of the next Avengers conflict.
Deadpool 3 will land in movie theaters on November 8, 2024.
