The Most Watched Show On Shudder, 'Dragula', Is Being Renewed For A Fifth Season
Shudder, the quote-unquote Netflix of horror has renewed Dragula for a fifth season. And no, we’re not talking about the Rob Zombie song; this heavily streamed show takes drag and puts quite the spooky spin on everything.
The art of drag takes on a horror theme in this exciting competition. The drag queens on the show have one goal: to win the title of the World’s Next Drag Supermonster. The Dragula universe has expanded since partnering with Shudder, including a spinoff called Titans that brings past contestants to compete in a new drag competition; this spinoff has had similar, solid success with streaming numbers.

The Boulet Brothers put out a statement confirming a season 5, as well as further possibilities for the cinematic universe they have been steadily building:
“We’re so excited by the insane response to the new spin-off, and so happy people are loving it. Expanding the Boulet Brothers’ Dragula cinematic universe has been our goal since the beginning, and with the success of Titans firmly in place, we’re excited to move our focus to opening casting for Season 5 and taking the show into a bold, new direction.”
The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula has quite the origin story. It started as a YouTube series in 2016, building a cult fanbase and quite a reputation. The further it reached, the more opportunities the Boulet Brothers got; Shudder picking the series up allowed it to hit new heights. You can binge the first four seasons and catch the latest episode of Titans on Shudder’s app or website.
