The First Clip From 'What If...?' Season 3 Has Been Released

A bit of news has already come out for season three of Marvel Studios’ What If…? in the form of a new clip! Titled “A Look Into the Future”, the clip features a very stoic Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier and a humorous Red Guardian traveling together while evading the law. Red Guardian repeatedly calls Bucky the Winter Fox throughout the clip. The pair fails to pass through a checkpoint, and an exciting police chase breaks out. A funny detail to point out, the license plate of their car reads ‘2FAST4U’ and resembles the state of Ohio’s plate design. Red Guardian has an established deep connection to the state, having infiltrated and temporarily destroyed a HYDRA-controlled research facility there in the 90s. Check the clip out below!

Marvel Studios’ What If…? explores the possibilities of the MCU, branching into the infinite vastness of the multiverse. Guided by The Watcher, the audience is shown “pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe” and how slight changes to major decisions can completely change the future. Season two wrapped up on December 30, 2023, with its ninth episode. The entire series can be streamed exclusively on Disney+.
