Ryan Gosling Will Be Returning To Netflix In A Series Based On ‘The Gray Man’

Ryan Gosling The Gray Man

The Gray Man just released in theaters earlier this month and came to the Netflix streaming platform on July 22. Ryan Gosling stars as the protagonist of the spy thriller while Chris Evans, in a departure from his Captain America heroics, takes on the role of the villain. Netflix announced plans to expand the film into a The Gray Man cinematic universe with a sequel and a series. Gosling is confirmed to return for the movie sequel but details on the series remain sparse.

Who better to lead Netflix into Cinematic Universe territory than Joe and Anthony Russo? The Russo Brothers became a household name when they took on the role of directing Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. According to the Russo Brothers, expanding The Gray Man past a single film into an expanded universe was a plan from day one.
