Hasbro Announces Two Black Series Figures From 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'

Hasbro has recently announced the upcoming release of two Black Series figures from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The first figure is Obi-Wan Kenobi as featured in the final triumphant scene of Part VI of the series as he returned to Tatooine after playing a pivotal role in saving Luke and Leia and preserving the Skywalker legacy and future of the Jedi. Also, Qui-Gon Jinn’s Force Ghost, who appeared to Obi-Wan in that final scene much to the surprise and delight of Star Wars fans, once again portrayed by actor Liam Neeson, will be getting his own Black Series figure. According to Hasbro’s press release:

"STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium 6-inch STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES QUI-GON JINN figure, inspired by the character’s appearance in the STAR WARS: OBI-WAN KENOBI live-action series. At the end of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s long journey, he encounters the spirit of his old friend and mentor: venerable Jedi Master and student of the living Force, Qui-Gon Jinn. Fans and collectors can display this fully articulated figure featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes figure"

Both figures will be available for pre-order on Tuesday, July 18 for $27.99 each, exclusively through Walmart online. Both of these figures will be released sometime in the Fall.
