Star Wars has officially taken over London. To mark the first live-action Jedi Wookie, Kelnacca and a host of cosplayers donned green lightsabers as part of The Acolyte promotional tour. The London Eye spent the evening in illuminated green, as a tribute to the release.

The London Eye is one of London’s most popular tourist attractions, the hundred- and thirty-five-meter-high observation wheel was installed on the banks of the Thames as a fun way to view the city. It can also be seen for miles around, so Londoners would have got a good view of the Star Wars themed celebration.

The Acolyte premier was held at the Luxe Odeon in Leicester Square and was hosted by BBC 1 Radio presenter Yinka Bokinni. Manny Jacinto, Amandla Stenberg, Dafne Keen And Lee Jung-jae all walked the red carpet. However, the real star of the show was Kelnacaa, played by Joonas Suotamo, who is reportedly a lifelong fan of the saga.

The cast and crew have seen the show, but the rest of us have to wait. The first two episodes will be released on June 4th on Disney Plus, with a new episode coming out each Tuesday. The finale will air on July 16th.
