Fans of the FX Chicago-based series, The Bear, have a newly released trailer for Season 3 to help whet their appetite for the return of the critically acclaimed comedy-drama series.

The series, which premiered in 2022, is about a young chef, Carmen (aka “Carmy”), played by Jeremy Allen White, who returns to Chicago from the dining world to run his family’s sandwich shop after his brother commits suicide.

The series features all of the highs, lows, and struggles of a chef and his employees running a restaurant.  The series is set in Chicago and features restaurants and publications inspired by those native to Chicago. The new trailer is full of the El, continuing the previous seasons’ theme of Chicago’s public transportation infrastructure.

Having traded in the remodeled beef stand he took over at the beginning of the series for a fine dining restaurant, Carmy announces in the trailer that he is seeking a “star” for the restaurant, possibly referring to the Michelin variety.  Chaos reigns supreme in the kitchen and around the restaurant in the trailer. Carmy is seen offering Sydney Adamu a partnership in the restaurant and Carmy’s ex-girlfriend, Claire, will return this season after their breakup in the previous season, likely complicating any relationship developing between Carmy and Sydney. The footage also covers the bulletin board of food critics members of the restaurant team warn each other to look out for.

The Bear Season 3 will be released on June 27 on Hulu, with all episodes immediately available for streaming.
