Fans of Fear Street have a lot of reason to be excited because we finally have a poster for the upcoming film! The Fear Street Trilogy, released on Netflix in 2021, was a massive hit, and fans have been begging for more ever since. The author of the Fear Street novels, R.L. Stine, announced on X back in January that the new film would be based on his novel Prom Queen, but it wouldn’t be until March that we finally got some news on the casting. It was confirmed that Ariana Greenblatt would be leading the cast for the film, and now we have our first look at the poster and confirmation that the film will be released to Netflix sometime in 2025.

The first three Fear Street films chose to explore the town in which the books are based rather than focusing on a specific book within the series. Now, the creators have chosen to change direction and focus on one of the most popular and well-loved books in the franchise, The Prom Queen. Originally published in 1992, the story follows Shadyside High students as they prepare for their senior prom. After the prom queen candidates are announced, they begin being murdered one by one until only one candidate remains. If the first three films are any indication, this film is going to be fantastic and full of gore and scares.

The Fear Street trilogy is currently available to stream on Netflix.
