The first look at James Gunn’s upcoming DC reboot has arrived with the release of the trailer for Creature Commandos, an animated series set to debut on Max this December 5th. This exciting new show will feature seven episodes, dropping weekly to keep fans eagerly anticipating each new installment.

Set after the events of season one of Peacemaker—another Gunn-helmed project—Creature Commandos offers a deeper dive into the expanding DC universe, with storylines that are sure to intrigue long-time fans. The connection between the two series will highlight how these narratives intertwine, building an even more cohesive world.

The voice cast is nothing short of star-studded. Steve Agee reprises his role as Economos, joined by an ensemble that includes Maria Bakalova as Princess Ilana, Anya Chalotra as Circe, Zoe Chao as Nina Mazursky, Frank Gill as Rick Flag Sr., Sean Gunn as GI Robot and Weasel, David Harbour as Frankenstein, Alan Tudyk as Dr. Phosphorus, Indira Varma as The Bride, and the iconic Viola Davis returning as Amanda Waller.
