Debra Jo Rupp Will Reprise Her 'WandaVision' Role In 'Agatha: Coven Of Chaos'

It looks like Agatha: Coven of Chaos is doing its best to keep Westview’s most prominent faces in town. Debra Jo Rupp has been reportedly added to the WandaVision spinoff, reprising her role as Sharon Davis, who while under Wanda’s Hex was known as Mrs. Hart.

She’s of course not the only actress returning for this series. Aside from Kathryn Hahn returning as Agatha Harkness and however much of Agnes we get in Westview, it’s already known that Emma Caulfield Ford will also be returning as Sarah Proctor, known as “Dottie Jones” under the Hex. There are set to be new characters played by Joe Locke and Sasheer Zamata, with Aubrey Plaza reportedly in a villainous role and Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, and Broadway legend Patti LuPone as witches of the coven, with Eric Andre possibly somewhere. Jac Schaeffer, who created WandaVision, will write and executive produce as he did on that series.

When Rupp originally appeared on WandaVision, she was an instant hit, as she had been beloved for her role as Kitty Forman on the Fox sitcom That ‘70s Show, which aired from 1998 to 2006. In October 2021, just seven months after the end of WandaVision, Netflix announced they had ordered a sequel series starring her and Kurtwood Smith back as Kitty and Red Forman. That series, That ‘90s Show, premieres on January 19. As for Agatha: Coven of Chaos, it seems pretty settled to premiere by the end of the year.
