Marvel Reveals Final Title And Release Date For The 'Agatha' Series
Taking some inspiration from Agatha’s tricky witchery, the MCU teased a hilarious title on X before quickly deleting the post. The title of the WandaVision spin-off featuring Agatha Harkness was revealed to be Agatha: The Lying Witch With Great Wardrobe. This was clearly a direct reference to C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. The post disappeared as quickly as it appeared.
In a masterpiece of trolling, the MCU shared a post on X that scrolled through the series’ numerous title changes including Agatha: The Darkhold Diaries, Agatha: House of Harkness, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, and the most recent Agatha: The Lying Witch With Great Wardrobe title before landing on Agatha All Along.

This X post directly mirrors the Agatha-centric episode in WandaVision where she reveals that some of the strange happenings in Wanda’s world were Agatha all along. Given the nature of the post, it is possible that the showrunners knew the title from the beginning and were putting out fake titles to keep the show on everyone’s radar. The X post also revealed the series release date of September 18, 2024, on Disney Plus. You can view the Marvel Studios’s post below.
