Daisy Ridley Posts A Photo From Inside The Lucasfilm Offices, Hinting At Rey's Return

Daisy Ridley, star of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, recently posted a story on Instagram of the interior of Lucasfilm, showing that she has been at the offices. This has led fans to speculate whether she is set to return to the franchise. Later, she did clarify with a second story that it was nothing but a lunch visit with nothing saucy happening. However, this has done little to deter rumors.

She had been silent on social media owing to backlash from fans about the sequel trilogy films and her part in them. It seems fans have at least warmed up to the idea of Ridley’s return to the franchise. Perhaps they finally recognized that the flaws of the films had nothing to do with her performance.
While her appearance as Rey in future Star Wars media is uncertain, there is always the possibility of her playing a different character within the universe. There are plenty of projects currently in the pipeline, with both Taika Waititi and Kevin Feige helming films within the franchise.
