Cast Of Showtime’s 'Yellowjackets' Discuss Epic Season Two Details At SXSW
Recently, the cast of Showtime’s newest drama, Yellowjackets, met with The Hollywood Reporter to chat about the show's upcoming second season at an immersive pop-up experience at South by Southwest (SXSW). The event was called “Camp Yellowjackets,” where fans and visitors explored a re-creation of the campground featured in the first season.
Tawny Cypress (adult Taissa Turner) had this to say about the second season:
“I think we were all pretty terrified to return for Season Two…The most difficult thing that happens for the adults is our biggest secret.”
Samantha Hanratty (teenage Misty Quigley) gave viewers what they could expect to see:
“This season is very emotional, and it is so hard to cry with these thick lenses in.”
However, many fans are also focusing on Lottie and her role as the “Antler Queen” from the first season. Co-showrunner Jonathan Lisco spoke with Entertainment Weekly about how Lottie’s flaws will be magnified in Season 2:
“This woman is a guru. But she’s also, like many self-proclaimed gurus, very volatile. She’s able to give you the scorpion’s tail at any moment.”
