A Reunion For The 20th Anniversary Of 'School Of Rock' Has Been Confirmed By Jack Black

While everyone else is making sequels, remakes, and reboots of their classic works, actor Jack Black, known for his comedy, is using just throwing a party. He has recently stated in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, and announced over Twitter, that he will be hosting a reunion with his co-stars in the award-winning 2003 movie School of Rock.
In the movie, he played Dewey Finn, a rock star who impersonates his former roommate to get a substitute teaching gig, where he turns his class into a band. “All those kids they were 10 years old when we made School of Rock and now they’re all, like, 30. We’re gonna get together and have a 20-year anniversary. We like to jam," he said of the other actors in the film.

Black seems to remember his time on set with great fondness. “My best memories are just that group of kids, and how funny and great they were,” he said at the time. “It’s definitely the highlight of my career, I can say that. Honestly.” He also stated that he will be using social media to upload pictures and videos of the event for the public to see.
School of Rock was released on October 3rd, 2003, and is a comedy. Although it has no sequel, it did spawn a Broadway musical and a Nickelodeon series.
