A New Photo From 'Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny' Shows Off Harrison Ford And Phoebe Waller-Bridge

Adventurers everywhere have received a new glimpse of their favorite archeologist. A new image has just been released from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny featuring Harrison Ford and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The latest installment of the Indiana Jones franchise has been years in the making. While Harrison Ford has been attached to the project since its early development in 2012, it was announced in April 2021 that Phoebe Waller-Bridge would star as a new character, Helena, alongside Ford’s titular adventurer.

Helena is Indy’s goddaughter, and the daughter of his close friend, who will also be introduced in the movie. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Director James Mangold said of Waller-Bridge’s character, “She’s a character who’s a wonderful set of contradictions — charming and brilliant, but also a lot of trouble.”

The film follows the events of 2008’s Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. In Dial of Destiny, Indy becomes suspicious of the fact that the U.S. government has hired former Nazis as engineers in an attempt to beat the Soviet Union to space. He and his goddaughter embark on a dangerous journey as the Space Race gears up.

The cast also includes Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, and Toby Jones. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is set to release in theaters on June 30, 2023.
