A new horror film was released last month, and now it's coming to HBO Max. Directed by  Zach Cregger, Barbarian is the latest horror film from 20th Century Studios, and it’s sure to leave you fearing what lies beneath your rental home (if you have one, of course).

This film has been in theaters for about a month now, and soon it can be viewed from the comfort of your own home. Of course, there’s still one question left to ask: just what is this film about, exactly? We’ll take you to the bottom of this.

RELATED:

Starring Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, and Justin Long, Barbarian centers around Tess, played by Campbell, as she books a rental home in a rundown neighborhood while she’s in town for a job interview. She soon realizes the home was booked, and ends up sharing it with a man named Keith, played by Skarsgård. However, not all is as it seems, as she soon discovers underground tunnels that lead to a terrifying secret—but you’ll have to watch Barbarian to find out, as we’ll be avoiding spoilers.

Barbarian was released in theaters on September 9, and you can still catch it there. It will be coming to HBO Max on Tuesday, Oct. 25, just a few days from when this was written. It will also be available for purchase and rent on platforms like Google Play, Amazon, Vudu, and iTunes. No word on any home video releases, but don’t rule it out just yet.
