It’s been a few months since the official trailer for season 2 of The Bad Batch was released, but bits and pieces of details have come through the woodwork. A new poster, pictured below, popped up on ShopTrends, giving a different look at the characters.

This poster is reminiscent of one from season one, with a few key differences, two of which being the camera angle and the absence of Crosshair. The latter difference could mean any number of things; the trailer did show Crosshair in a different armor design from the other clones. The camera angle, however, is more symbolic.

The old poster showed the group from a slight tilt with an emphasis on a straight stare, whereas this one has the camera looking up and the characters avoiding eye contact.  Season one took most characters through a round of massive development, and season two is set sometime in the future, after all of that.  They’ve grown and changed, and this angle combined with the trailer’s look into the plot implies that they are something to look up to now.

Outside of the symbolism, the poster gives a pretty decent, stable look at the new uniform designs.  Omega seems to have changed the most out of the group, looking a bit older and dressed more appropriately for the type of work they do. The orange highlights on the rest of the group are a significant change as well; Clone Force 99 had a thing for making their armor show how they’re different from the rest of the clones, and they continue that here.

Season two of The Bad Batch is set to release on January 4th, 2023, exclusively on Disney+. The premier will consist of two episodes.
