Fan’s Reaction To Episode 11 Of ‘Star Wars: Andor’
In episode 11 of Andor, ‘Daughter of Ferrix,’ the scene is set for the season’s grand finale as all of the principal actors are seemingly headed for the same destination: Cassian Andor’s hometown on Ferrix. The episode opens with a somber note as Maarva, Cassian Andor’s adoptive mother, has passed away. Being a member of the Daughters of Ferrix and a prominent citizen, she will be given a funeral despite protests from her team.
Meanwhile, on Coruscant, Vel confronts Kleya while looking for Luthen because she wants to tell him of Maarva’s death and that Cassian would most likely return to Ferrix. Vel then goes to Mon Mothma’s apartment, where she learns about Mon’s financial troubles and that she might go ahead with Davo Sculdun’s proposal. Leida is involved with a Chandrilan traditionalist group, to the shock of Vel and Mon.
Elsewhere on Coruscant, Syril Karn receives a video call from Mosk, who tells him about Maarva’s funeral and that Cassian Andor is most likely to return to Ferrix. Karn secretly steals his mother’s credits the next day. Luthen meets with Saw Gerrera to tell him that the ISB knows that Kreegyr’s group is about to raid the power station on Spellhaus. On his way back to Coruscant, Luthen is stopped by an Imperial patrol but is able to destroy some TIE fighters to make an escape.
Cassian Andor and Melshi find a couple of local Narkinians and try to steal their quadjumper. While the Narkinians catch them in their trap and are seemingly about to hand Andor and Melshi to the Imperials, they give them a ride to Niamos. On Niamos, Andor manages to retrieve his hidden stash and makes a call to Ferrix. During the call, he learns of Maarva’s death. After the call, Melshi splits up with Andor, who gazes at the sunset across the ocean.
