'Star Wars' Fan Reacts To 'Andor' Episode 8
With the first season at its close, there is no shortage of issues that each character will face and what decisions will be made. With Cassian’s capture and the Empire showing a more chilling side to themselves than viewers expected, there leaves room for slow, tense moments to raise the tensions which will ultimately lead to the Galactic Civil War. Though moments may be slow, moments that take the time to allow viewers to breathe and ponder “deep concepts that help us understand what happens moments before the true rebellion begins.”
Considering many of the themes of Star Wars are familiar, it might be difficult to freshen the motifs of “the failings of the industrial prison system and class division”, episode 8 is an intricate web of how other principal characters correlate to Cassian and how they handle themselves in their lowest moments.
