Star Wars is at its best when it's silliest and that's no different for this episode of The Mandalorian. While the biggest moment of the episode came at the end, sometimes it's good to take a break and have some fun with a detective-style episode featuring Din and Bo-Katan, and some extra fun celebrity cameos.

Fans are introduced to the planet Plazir-15 and its leaders. Din and Bo-Katan make their way to speak to the Mandalorians who were previously under Bo-Katan’s command. However, before they could talk to them, the planet’s leaders asked them to investigate why some of their reprogrammed battle droids are going rogue. Both Din and Bo-Katan use their respective skills to find out who is responsible for their malfunction.

After they completed the mission, Din and Bo-Katan make their way to the Mandalorians to convince them to join their cause. Bo-Katan challenges Axe Woves, who now leads these Mandalorians, with Bo-Katan coming out on top. In the last five minutes of the episode, Din brings up a shocking revelation that helps Bo-Katan unite the Mandalorians and reclaim their home planet.

The plot for this season is obvious. The Mandalorians want to reclaim their homeworld of Mandalore, which has been decimated. The Mandalorians were scattered around the galaxy and had to make new lives elsewhere. It will take a lot to unite the Mandalorians (who have been plagued by infighting) to once more reclaim and rebuild their homeworld.

This season has also given us more character development for Bo-Katan and Grogu as well as insight into the New Republic, and what is happening in the universe in this era, outside of the Mandalorians. Even though it feels like Din Djarin is being sidelined in his own show, just like Boba Fett was for a few episodes in The Book of Boba Fett, I have a feeling it will all come together in the end.

The color palette in this episode was beautiful, as well as the costumes, especially that of the duchess. Her outfit was absolutely gorgeous, and the actress looked amazing in it. The planet reminded me a lot of a utopian paradise and is definitely somewhere I would want to live.

Bryce Dallas Howard has become a star director among Star Wars fans, and this episode was no different. She did a wonderful job directing the fun episode by bringing in familiar faces and characters from the prequel era. The battle droids were not the brightest in the prequels and remained so even though they had been reprogrammed. The reveal at the end of the episode will have implications for what happens in the rest of the season. With only two episodes left, it will be interesting to see how the season ends, and if a certain someone will make an appearance.
