5. Skeleton Crew Writers Revealed
Out of all the Star Wars Disney + series, Skeleton Crew seems to be the most mysterious of the bunch. However, a few more nuggets of information have managed to appear about the series. Registering with the Writers Guild of America, Skeleton Crew has listed who its writers are. Most of the episodes will be co-written by Christopher Ford and Jon Watts who are best known for their work on Spider-Man: Homecoming, while two episodes are written by Myung Joh Wesner. A quite talented cast of writers telling a fascinating Star Wars tale.
Despite this show being set in the Mandoverse and produced by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau these two are not involved in the direct writing of the project itself. This is exciting to see a new flavor given to the series as well as just this particular era of Star Wars. The series is said to be about a group of children traveling the unknown areas of the galaxy.
Hopefully, Skeleton Crew will premier sometime this year and will bless our screens with another fascinating tale in that Galaxy Far Far Away. Though when it will appear is hard to say for always in motion the future is.

4. New Information Revealed About Daedalic Entertainment’s Second Lord Of The Rings Game
Daedalic Entertainment has recently released the first game in their multi-game deal with Middle-earth Enterprises. Just days after the release of Lord of the Rings: Gollum, information has come to light about a fantasy adventure the studio is working on that is likely related to the Lord of the Rings deal.
The information was discovered in the database of video game projects receiving a German government subsidy by the games industry outlet Gameswirtschaft.de. Codenamed It’s Magic, the project is projected to release in August 2024. The description discovered says that the game will “transport the player into a lush world full of mythical creatures and magic.”
Much like Gollum, this second game “tells a story from a character’s perspective that has never been told before.” Unlike Gollum, this one seems like it will take players to new regions within the world of Lord of the Rings, where the player character will “influence the course of things and change the fate of the world.”
With the recent release of Lord of the Rings: Gollum, reviews weren’t kind to it, calling out its dated feel and many bugs. This second game should hopefully see a lot of technical improvements now that Daedalic has a base to work from. While story and theming are more subjective, the feedback from the first should guide their decisions for the second.

3. Captain Rex Will Make His Live-Action Debut On The Upcoming ‘Ahsoka’ Series
There are plenty of rumors and speculation swirling around the upcoming Ahsoka series on Disney+, from where Thrawn has been, if Ezra is still alive, to how it will tie into Filoni’s big wrap-up movie. One line of speculation concerns Captain Rex.
If this news from One Take News is to be believed, it seems that the old fan-favorite clone trooper will have a live-action debut in the Ahsoka series, and he’ll be played by Temuera Morrison.
That’s all the substance the rumor has at the moment. According to OTN, Lucasfilm had no comment. The site claims they don’t know if it will be through a flashback or a contemporary appearance, nor do they know if other clones will be involved. OTN is a relatively new news source, but they took the liberty to throw up the words “Exclusive” on the news, and other sites have seen fit to run with it.
Still, some doubt remains. If memory serves, Temuera recently lamented at having not been brought in for season three of The Mandalorian, and his words come off almost as if he feels like he’s been cast aside. That said, however, Disney is known for having strong NDAs for cast members, and people have famously been silent and tight-lipped on their surprise cameos, Morrison included (Remember when everyone was surprised at his return as Boba Fett in The Mandalorian season two?).
Regardless, it would make sense that Rex makes an appearance or plays a part in the show. Filoni himself has said it’s basically season five of Rebels, and Rex was a recurring character on the show. With Ahsoka premiering in August, we don’t have much longer to wait and find out.

2. Unveiling Phantom Liberty: A Cyberpunk 2077 DLC On The Horizon
The information regarding the release window has been brought to light by an insider named Tyler McVicker, renowned for leaking Valve-related details in the past. Last year, McVicker accurately revealed the expansion's presence at The Game Awards. Now, his latest leak suggests that Phantom Liberty may launch in August, with possible confirmation anticipated at the Summer Game Fest on June 8.
CD Projekt RED has been tight-lipped about the specifics of the Phantom Liberty expansion. At present, all that has been disclosed is that it takes place in a new district and introduces a fresh character named Reed, voiced by the talented Idris Elba.
This expansion is being hailed as CD Projekt RED's most ambitious and costly project to date, exclusively designed for current-generation consoles—the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X—as well as PC.
The rumored August release for Phantom Liberty remains uncertain at best. Nevertheless, there is a silver lining. August 20, 2023, holds significance within the game itself.
This date commemorates the Night City Holocaust in Cyberpunk 2077. In a nutshell, this event refers to the bombing of the Arasaka Headquarters during the Fourth Corporate War. The Night City Holocaust resulted in the loss of a quarter-million lives and significantly weakened Arasaka's control over Night City. It would take the city at least fifty years to fully recover, and the lives of countless individuals were forever altered by this tragic incident.
Ultimately, only CD Projekt RED possesses the knowledge regarding the actual release date of Phantom Liberty.
For now, fans must patiently await an official announcement. However, it wouldn't hurt to celebrate the remarkable milestone achieved by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the entire series in the meantime.

1. The Truth Of Elden Ring's Shadow Of The Erdtree
FromSoftware leaker, Lance McDonald, has taken it upon themselves to hype up the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. In a recent Discord post, Lance went on to announce that the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC would be massive once released. McDonald considered two separate DLCs being combined as bigger and better. However, the size, quality of content, and release date are not mentioned. The size of Elden Ring alone hints that the expansion will be large. Originally, Elden Ring’s files revealed the potential of an upcoming arena system. The FromSoftware developers ended up rolling all the post-launch content plans into this one creative expansion. Lance McDonald would further elaborate that FromSoftware originally wanted to offer a season pass. Yet, those plans were scrapped entirely.
According to reports, Elden Ring is expected to receive only one expansion instead of the many individual DLCs that were originally planned and could have been included in a season pass. Bloodborne is another of FromSoftware’s games that only featured a single DLC. Bloodborne was also slated to have several expansions but was later turned into 2015’s The Old Hunters DLC. Fans of Soulsborne games will remember that Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice did not receive any downloadable or post-launch content, unlike other installments, despite many pleas from the community.
There is a rumor circulating that Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is to be released in the spring of 2024. Yet, there is no official confirmation since no release date has been announced yet. Players can set their pre-orders for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. This will be FromSoftware's only release announcement for 2023.
