5. Sandrine’s Holt Role In Daredevil: Born Again Could Be Playing A Shady Wolverine Associate
We still have a way to go until Daredevil: Born Again releases on Disney+ but that hasn’t stopped the cast announcements from being released. One of the most recent announcements was the addition of Sandrine Holt who starred in House Of Cards. When it was announced she was joining, the internet naturally started speculating on who her character is. It’s been rumored that she could be playing someone outside of Hell’s Kitchen.
One of the plot points that is speculated to take place in Daredevil: Born Again is Wilson Fisk becoming mayor. However, he cannot run for mayor while most of his money comes from organized crime, he’ll need some money that looks legit and there's one place that happens within the MCU, the city of Madripoor. This location was first seen in Falcon and Winter Soldier and is a criminal safe haven. The character of Jessan Hogan is the type of character that Fisk would seek out in Madripoor for clean money. She was a financial genius who worked for her family’s major international bank. She is better known as Tyger Tiger and a known associate of Wolverine. This is the perfect character for Sandrine Holt to play, as we know she was cast for a South Asian character.
With Wolverine returning to Deadpool 3, it wouldn’t be out of the question to see one of his associates, and it would make perfect sense for Fisk to seek someone out like this when he runs for mayor.

4. Locals Scope Out Actors On ‘The Rings of Power’ Sets
Photos have surfaced on Redanian Intelligence of actors on set for the filming of The Rings of Power season two. It seems local photographers caught sight of elves, and by the looks of it, there are about six, on a location shoot. It’s unclear if they’re being filmed, but the rearmost elf is seen arming her bow and the rest are looking up a hill to another slightly blocked by a tree.
The location shoots come from the filming in Surrey in the UK. Given the time of year and the shots, it suggests a colder, wilderness setting for the scenes. It’s known that The Stranger and Nori are headed east, into the Rhun, a region that has yet to be seen in filmed Middle-earth. It’s an older region, home to the place of the first waking of the Elves. It’s possible these scenes could be located there. Or, given the time of year being filmed, it could be somewhere to the north in Middle-earth.
There were also shots of burned buildings and a blurry picture of the cast arriving for a night shoot. Mordor, having been created by the end of season one, is set to have a prominent role in season two, and Isildur was left behind. Elendil had to let his horse go, and it raced back the way they’d come. Redanian Intelligence states in the coverage that there was a shot of a lone horse rider among burned-out buildings. Could that be Isildur and his horse?
It’ll be some time before we get confirmation of what these shots were since season two is not likely to drop until 2024.

3. ’Fortnite’ Likely To See A ‘Family Guy’ Collaboration In The Future
Chapter 4 Season 1 of Fortnite has recently begun, with a new addition that came with it giving credibility to rumors of a Family Guy collaboration.
With a new season of Fortnite comes a new battle pass full of items, skins, and accessories. Collaborations with various properties have happened in the past, with the current one that has come with this new season being part of a leak that happened earlier this year. That leak teased DOOM and Family Guy as collaborations that would be happening. Doom Slayer has appeared as a skin in this latest season, giving credibility to that leak.
Sometime in the future, Family Guy is likely to appear. Whether that comes with Chapter 4 Season 1 is unknown. While it’s not uncommon for collaborations to be announced during the middle of a season, this one is already looking packed with them. Along with DOOM, media franchises The Witcher and My Hero Academia are among those confirmed, with YouTube star MrBeast and NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo also coming.
The new chapter of Fortnite has brought with it a new island for players to fight it out on, with a lot of technical improvements that have seen a visual upgrade to the game. Reality Augments bring a new gameplay mechanic to provide buffs to your character the longer you last in a match.

2. Acolyte Leak Photos
With production underway already there have been set photos leaked of the new upcoming Disney+ series The Acolyte. Set in the tail end of the High Republic Era this thriller mystery series by Lesley Hedlend will explore the darker side of the force as it shows how the Sith infiltrated the Jedi Order.
While we can’t show the photos themselves we can at least confirm that they are very much sticking with the aesthetic of the High Republic era. The cast itself seems to be quite a diverse bunch, not just in terms of actors but also when it comes to alien species within the Star Wars universe itself.
The Acolyte will hopefully be appearing on our Disney+ screens soon and we will see a whole new era of Star Wars as well. Lesley Hedlend and her team have their work cut out for them but it does seem that they might add something fantastic to the Galaxy Far Far Away.

1. Disney Was Not Impressed By Patty Jenkins Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Script
Patty Jenkins’ name has been across the headlines this last week after it was reported by the Hollywood Reporter that Wonder Woman 3 has been canceled because DC did not see the script as fitting their vision for the future. Jenkins refused rewrites on the project, ultimately backing out. Now, it has been alleged that Disney shared a similar sentiment about Jenkins’ latest Star Wars script.
Speaking to The Hot Mic podcast, Star Wars insider Jeff Sneider revealed,
“I’ve heard some things about Patty Jenkins… I heard she’s a nightmare… I’ve heard that the Wonder Woman [3] script she turned in was a mess. I heard the Star Wars thing [Rogue Squadron] was a mess…”
Fans last flocked to the theaters for Rise of Skywalker, though 2023 was supposed to bring the first big-screen Star Wars project since the sequel trilogy finished. The film was set to be an original story, not an adaptation of any prior plots from novels, video games, or the rest of the extended universe. In May, Jenkins told Vanity Fair that the movie had officially been taken off the release schedule by Lucasfilm, leading fans to speculate that it was so the director could focus on the third Wonder Woman film.
As these reports continue to surround the director, the fate of her Star Wars project is still unknown. If this film is not released then fans won’t have to wait long for another, as Taika Waititi’s turn at Star Wars is expected in the next couple of years. The future of the franchise is still in the shadows, but it will take time for Lucasfilm to follow the end of the Skywalker Saga.
