4. Separatist Tanks Appear In Star Wars: Skeleton Crew
The churning of the Star Wars Disney Plus shows is long underway, Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte are both filming in their respective studios. Both these shows probably are not going to come for a few more years but according to a Bespin Bulletin article, there are a few updates to be given about what just might be going on here with this series.
Bespin Bulletin has been able to take several images of the set of Skeleton Crew at Manhattan Beach during the time of production and has managed to spot something being hidden under a drape, while they couldn’t comfort they speculate that it is similar in silhouette to the armored assault tanks of the Trade Federation from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace An interesting choice to be sure if it’s true, for it would incorporate prequel elements into what is a post-Return of the Jedi story, much like the N-1 starfighter. A good meshing of the eras is always fun to see, really gives the universe a singular feel to it showing that all eras are part of a singular whole. Of course, this is just underneath a large black carpet at one of the sets in Manhattan Beach.
Also, the article shows that The Acolyte continues to build sets as well across the ocean in Shinfield Studios Berkshire, and while there isn’t that much on that front it is good to see Acolyte is still underway.
At the end of the day, it seems Star Wars shows are going apace, and thus they will soon be good additions to the galaxy far far away.

3. Foggy Nelson May Appear In Daredevil: Born Again
Daredevil on Netflix was a huge hit when it premiered. It went on for three seasons until it was suddenly canceled in 2018. The door was always open for a reboot, especially with Disney+ coming into the picture. Charlie Cox has said previously that a rebooted series would be a “reimagining of the comic books”. Then in March of 2022, Daredevil fans finally got the news they’d been waiting for-a Daredevil reboot was in development at Disney+. At San Diego Comic-Con 2022, we even got the title: Daredevil: Born Again. Charlie Cox, who played the title role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio who played Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, will be reprising their roles in the series. The supporting characters played a big role in the show as well, and it is rumored that Matt’s best friend, Foggy Nelson who was played by Elden Henson, will return in Daredevil: Born Again.
According to DanielRPK, Elden Henson may have signed on to reprise his role as Foggy Nelson in Daredevil: Born Again. This, however, has not been officially confirmed by the actor of Marvel Studios. Henson first appeared as Foggy Nelson back in 2015. After graduation, Foggy and Matt decided to open up their own law firm, which was appropriately named: Nelson and Murdock. The two were close friends, but a strain was placed on their friendship once Foggy found out about Matt and his role as Daredevil.
Deborah Ann Woll played the role of Karen Page. She was someone Foggy and Matt hired to work at their law office, but eventually became a great friend to them. There is no word on whether Deborah Ann Woll will reprise her role as Karen in Daredevil: Born Again, even though Woll has previously expressed interest in potentially playing the character again.
Daredevil: Born Again will have 18 episodes and is slated to arrive sometime in 2024 on Disney+.

2. Jon Bernthal Returning in Daredevil: Born Again as The Punisher
This rumor actually starts back at C2E2. During a panel, Rosario Dawson, aka The Night Nurse from the Netflix Marvel series, apparently let slip that John Bernthal will be reprising his role as the Punisher in the upcoming revival of the Daredevil series in Born Again. However, she quickly walked those back, claiming she was reacting to a tweet she had seen.
KC Walsh, a reportedly accurate rumor mill, tweeted out that there was a scheduling conflict with one of the actors from the Netflix shows, and Marvel decided to go with another that was available. According to their information, that availability comes from Jon Bernthal. Bernthal played the rage-filled, violent vigilante The Punisher in the Netflix Marvel show of the same name, introduced in season two of Daredevil.
It would be somewhat of a surprise, given how violent The Punisher’s premise is, and it being on Disney+. However, Disney has made moves recently to open up more adult-themed shows and movies, especially after they acquired Twentieth Century Fox, which also brought them Deadpool.
As the date for the release of Daredevil: Born Again nears, and with NYCC coming up in October, we may learn more from Marvel or Disney.

1. Grand Admiral Thrawn Will Make His First Live-Action Appearance Next Year
As we move closer and closer to the premiere of Ahsoka next year, the rumors surrounding fan-favorite characters from Star Wars: Rebels continue to mount. Now that Ezra Bridger's actor for live-action has been announced, there is only one character fans are waiting for news about, Grand Admiral Thrawn. A character first introduced via several Expanded Universe novels, Thrawn first appeared onscreen in season 3 of Rebels as the primary antagonist for the last seasons of the show's run. Culminating in the series finale where Ezra finally can outmaneuver the Grand Admiral and traps him aboard his ship, The Chimera.
Since Ahsoka asked for the location of Grand Admiral Thrawn in Season 2 of The Mandalorian, fans have wondered whether or not he would make an appearance in her upcoming show. It has seemed all but certain that Thrawn will play a part in Ahsoka, but Lucasfilm has kept his return very close to their chest. However, like any well-kept secret, eventually, word will get out.
Two sources close to Lucasfilm have told me that Thrawn will appear in Live-Action. Of course, the exact details of our conversations will remain a mystery, but I can with 95% certainty tell you that the Grand Admiral will make an appearance in Ahsoka. While one source confirmed that Thrawn would make an appearance in live-action soon, the other source let me in on the fact that Thrawn will more than likely appear in Ahsoka. However, hearing these statements together and knowing that Ahsoka was out looking for the Grand Admiral during The Mandalorian, it only makes sense that Thrawn will return to The Galaxy Far, Far Away sooner rather than later.
