4. Lars Mikkelsen Set To Play Grand Admiral Thrawn In Ahsoka

Out of a list of characters that Star Wars fans would want to see in live-action no one has come close to the gravitas surrounding them than Grand Admiral Thrawn. First appearing in the Star Wars Legends book Heir to the Empire in 1991, he would go on to be such a popular character that he would be brought back into Canon with Star Wars Rebels, voiced by the legendary Lars Mikkelsen. Ever since the Ashoka show in Mando, fans have speculated if Lars will return to the role of Thrawn would to return in live-action. It would seem that the rumors about this are once again churning as Bespin Bulletin is saying that they have heard some reports that yes, Lars Mikkelsen will be returning to the role of Grand Admiral Thrawn in live-action for the Ashoka Series.

Now to be clear none of this is confirmed of course but it does seem that those in the know have heard more and more whispers of Lars Mikkelson returning to be the actor playing live-action Thrawn. It would be interesting to see someone who originally voiced the character return to the role, something that hasn’t happened since Katie Sakoff came back as Bo-Katan. Again, whether this is true or not remains to be seen, time will tell, for always in motion the future is, at least where the Star Wars galaxy is concerned.

3. Raven Software To Be Working On Next Call Of Duty Campaign According To Job Description

A new job listing for Raven Software has appeared that implies the studio will be working on a new Call of Duty campaign. The studio is currently hiring for a Lead Campaign Animator. The listing for that job asks that applicants have extensive knowledge of the Call of Duty series and experience in first-person shooters (FPS).

Going into detail with the job listing, it lists as part of the job responsibilities that the candidate will be helping to visualize and support all animation needs, highlighting gameplay and scripted sequences as part of that. Expert knowledge in both first- and third-person gameplay animations is listed as a requirement for the candidate to have, a strong understanding of the language of gameplay and storytelling techniques.

It seems certain that Raven Software will be working on a Call of Duty campaign, then. But which one? Three studios cycle through a release schedule for Call of Duty games, with Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games each having their own place within that rotation to make sure there is a game per year. The next game set to be released will be under Treyarch, who Raven Software has collaborated with before.

The 2020 release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War saw Raven Software working first alongside Sledgehammer Games, then Treyarch when Activision reassigned the project owing to the tensions between the two studios. Treyarch and Raven Software worked a lot better, releasing a game that saw a lot of praise for its campaign. It’s not hard to see why Treyarch would be wanting to hit those same successes again with its next release.

2. Sacha Baron Cohen Cast As Mephisto For Disney+ ‘IronHeart’ Series

Well, the Twitter MCU rumor mill is spinning once more, with news that the Marvel Hell Lord, Mephisto will finally be making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, played by British comedic icon, Sacha Baron Cohen.

While nothing has been confirmed, the 'news' of this possible casting took MCU Twitter by storm, with Cohen's name and Mephisto's hitting the trending section for almost a whole day. Beyond the casting, further rumors indicate that Mephisto will be playing a Big Bad role in the upcoming Disney+ series IronHeart, where he will allegedly serve as the 'benefactor' of Parker Robbins AKA The Hood, a dark arts-wielding super-villain.

The hype around Mephisto in the MCU goes back to the Disney+ series WandaVision, where fans speculated that the Hell Lord would be the series Big Bad. Following a very Mephisto-less finale, fans shifted their hopes towards Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, only to be disappointed once again. But despite these let-downs, Mephisto's devoted 'fan base' believe that the Lord of Lies' appearance in the MCU is inevitable, especially with the MCU taking on more supernatural projects, like the upcoming Agatha Harkness series.

The character of Mephisto made his debut in 'The Silver Surfer #3' way back in 1968, based on the similarly named Mephistopheles from Faustian legend. Since his debut, he has quickly become one of the Marvel Universe's most well-known and fearsome villains, having tangled with the likes of the Beyonder, the Avengers, Dr. Doom, and Spider-Man, the latter of which culminated in the highly controversial 'One More Day' storyline. With such a fearsome resume, it’s clear that any actor taking on the role, Sacha Baron Cohen or not, will have hellish expectations thrust upon them.

**Spoilers for the Black Adam post-credit scene**

Black Adam is the newest DC superhero film that releases in theaters on October 21st. It stars Dwayne Johnson as the titular hero, Black Adam. It's been a rumor for a while that Henry Cavill will come back to play his role as Superman at some point. It appears this is true, as the end credit scene was leaked that shows him back as Superman.

The end credit scene shows Black Adam being confronted by Superman. A familiar character sends a drone to speak with Black Adam, who is now imprisoned on the planet, Kahndaq. The character warns him if he tries to leave, that he will not live. Adam then tells them that there “is no one on the planet who can stop him”. The other character says they’ll send someone, not from this planet. Adam destroys the drone, and through the smoke, we see Henry Cavill back as Superman. The quality of the video was not good, but it appears that  Superman’s suit is more saturated in color. It looks to be a dark blue, and the cape is more maroon. The shield has goldish color behind the iconic S.

Dwayne Johnson has been trying to get Henry Cavill as Superman back for years. It appears Johnson was successful and has even said “Welcome home” to his fellow actor.
