3. ‘Spider-Man’ Villain To Return

While Hollywood may at this moment still be at a standstill there are always rumors going around at what the next wave of big blockbuster movies will be planning. Recently according to source Daniel RPK Marvel's Spider-Man may see the return of an old villain in the form of Michael Keaton’s The Vulture. He could be returning to Spider-Man 4.

Vulture was teased to continue being part of the Spider-Man stories as he was one of the few villains who survived and may be setting up the sinister six. Time will tell if this comes to pass or not.

2. Word On The Street Is AMPTP Is Ready To Finalize The Deal

What some were calling Hot Labor Summer has turned into Hot Labor Year. With historic labor wins from the UAW and the WGA, and more labor movements growing, it feels likely that the AMPTP will likely give in and grant many of the asks of SAG-AFTRA.

It looks like that time is here. According to Jeff Sneider, there is supposedly word coming down that AMPTP has conceded to the union’s AI proposals. According to this rumor, it comes with a reduction in their subscriber proposals, and with even larger gains on minimums and bonuses than the Writers Guild.

If this is the case, it will be another historic win for labor this year and add more momentum to the other strikes forming or picketing right now, like the teacher strike in Oregon.

1. Marvel’s ‘Blade’ Remake Is Being Made For Under $100 Million

The Blade remake, starring Mahershala Ali, will never see the light of day. The movie has gone through many creative changes and has had at least five different writers and two directors. At one point, Ali was considering leaving the project, as he felt frustrated with the various changes that were happening. He was even bumped down to fourth lead at one point. Now a new report from Variety says that the Blade movie will reportedly be made for just under $100 million, and when it comes to Marvel projects, that's not a lot.

With CEO Bob Iger’s return, he has to grapple with the MCU’s creative and financial issues. Blade being made with $100 million is not a lot of money, especially when we look at the upcoming MCU release, The Marvels, which was made with $274.8 million.

With the writer's strike ending in September, the script for Blade can be started once again. Hopefully, the next iteration of the script is a good one and is something that fans can start looking forward to.
