MCU Season 2 Shows
Marvel MCU shows have been on the back burner for a while now due to the state of streaming. However, rumor abounds that this D23 will be quite a show for the MCU. MCU ‘Ghost Rider’ Casting
Many fans have been itching to see Ghost Rider, within the MCU. In the original film, the titular character was played by Nicholas Cage. Since it was made before the MCU it is no longer considered ‘canon’. That is why a reboot is in order. There have been various rumors about the reboot floating around, even a fan-made trailer that shows Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles as Ghost Rider. However, a new rumor suggests a familiar face will play the titular role instead
According to RejectedScooper on X, the role of Ghost Rider has gone to Ryan Gosling. A few weeks ago, there was another rumor about Gosling meeting with Marvel Studios about a future role, and if true, it seems this may have been it. He even said in an interview recently how he would love to play the character as well. With the popularity of Ryan Gosling in recent years, it would be an excellent casting choice. We’ve seen how diverse his range is from Barbie to The Fall Guy so adding Ghost Rider to that list wouldn’t be too far-fetched either. It would also be quite a different interpretation from when Nicholas Cage played the role.
However, this is all just rumor, even if the tweet does say “officially”. We won’t know what's official for sure until we see it from Marvel themselves. Until then, all we can do is continue to speculate.
