3. Director of ‘Andor’ Season Two Reveals A Returning Character From ‘Rogue One’
Diego Luna has already been talking about what’s coming in season two of Andor, including that more faces from Rogue One will be showing up. Now, thanks to an interview with one of the season two directors via The Playlist, it seems one of those returning faces is known.
Mexican filmmaker Alonso Ruizpalacios revealed during that interview that he had the honour to direct the last three episodes of Andor season two. It was a treat to direct heavyweight actors such as Stellan Skarsgård, Forest Whitaker, and Ben Mendelsohn.
Mendelsohn portrayed Orson Krennic, who was in command of the Death Star during Rogue One. Usurped from the position by Grand Moff Tarkin, he met his end on Scarif by the very weapon he helped construct. While the discovery of the Death Star is unable to happen in Andor, the superweapon and Krennic can still have parts to play. Especially if the focus of the Imperial side of the story shifts to the Death Star as the season gets close to Rogue One.
The release date for season two of Andor is much speculated, though Ruizpalacios did have something to say about that. Early 2025 is a possibility for release. And with little else known for Star Wars content next year, that possibility feels very real.

2. There’s A Whole Bunch Of LEGO Leaks For ‘The Lord Of The Rings’ And ‘Star Wars’
Over the last few days, there’s been a litany of leaks coming from LEGO leakers about potential upcoming Star Wars and THe Lord of the Rings sets. Let’s dive into what they are and which ones are likely to come out.
The strongest leak is likely to be the C-3PO Ultimate Collectors Edition. The supposed box art mirrors that of the R2-D2 set that came out some years ago. According to the leak, it’s set to come out August 1 this year, priced at 150 dollars.
The other leaks seem a little on the stretch side of possibility. They consist of The Lord of the Rings sets, but many of them seem to be more of a wishlist than rumors. Things like the Mines of Moria with a showdown against the Balrog, or even Hobbiton. Hobbiton’s been done before for the Hobbit run of sets about 10 years ago.
However, according to one account, there is a rumor going around that’s being corroborated by other insiders. That would be about a potential iconic setting set like Rivendell and Barad-Dur, and this time around it would be Minas Tirith. Now this is just a light rumor, but apparently, there’s high confidence.

1. Abeloth Will Appear In Season 2 Of 'Ahsoka'
Season 2 of Ahsoka is officially in the works, and fans have been speculating what will happen. Some think it won’t release until after one of the movies, but it could also serve as a setup, for Dave Filoni’s Star Wars movie. We won’t know for a while which theories are true, as we have a long way to go until the season even starts filming. A new rumor suggests however that fans could see another Legends character introduced to the canon.
According to DanielRPK, Abeloth, also known as “The Bringer Of Chaos”, will appear in Ahsoka season 2. She acquired her Dark Side powers and immortality from drinking from the Font of Power and bathing in the Pool of Knowledge. This however did not have the intended consequences, and she became the twisted, immortal enemy known as Abeloth. She then lived as the Servant, a mortal woman who served the powerful Ones on a jungle planet, thousands of years before the Battle of Yavin. She eventually became the Mother and would keep the peace between the Father, and his Son and Daughter.
This rumor isn’t too far-fetched either, considering how we saw the end of Baylan’s story, standing on the remains of the statues, that include The Father, The Daughter, and The Son. Some have even speculated that it could be Shin Hati who eventually turns into Abeloth. Whatever happens, it will be interesting to see if this Legends character makes an appearance, and how they will incorporate her into canon.
