1. Henry Cavill Is Leaving The 'Warhammer 40K' Series
Henry Cavill has been a hot actor for a while now. We’ve seen him in various films such as Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Enola Holmes, and most recently Argylle. He is also quite a big nerd, so it only made sense when he was cast in the role of Geralt Of Rivia in Netflix’s The Witcher series. However, it was a shock when it was announced that he would not be returning for season four, and was recast with Liam Hemsworth. Cavill also signed on for another nerdy show, but this time for Amazon. This is the Warhammer 40k series currently in development. Even though he’s a Warhammer 40k superfan, a new rumor revealed that he may have left the series.
There are a couple of reasons why he may have left, and the most obvious is a scheduling issue. The man is a busy actor, so it may be hard to commit to a series, that is not quite yet ready to film. Another could be creative differences. It’s one thing to be a superfan of something, but when you work to bring that said thing to life, it’s a whole different ballgame. He may have had different ideas from the other creatives working on the show, which could’ve brought some tension, and strong opinions, that others may not have agreed with. Lastly, it could deal with the canon of the series. 40K is known for its male-centric characters, and if the studio wanted to modernize it, and include women, Cavill could’ve been against it, because he’s a huge fan of the series, and it would go against the established canon.
We have no way of knowing if this rumor is true or not until it’s confirmed by the studios. Since the series is still far away from any release yet, we probably won’t know for a while.
