2. Rey ‘Star Wars’ Film Update

With 2024 starting so does a fresh batch of rumors, one of them being of course of an up-and-coming Star Wars theatrical project that being the New Jedi Order film featuring Daisy Ridley as Rey Skywalker and directed by Shareem Obaid-Chinoy. Recently according to leaker Daniel RPK on his Patreon the New Jedi Order film is hoping to cast a 13-year-old kid, open gender and race which is described to be “Like someone from the cast of the Bottoms” in the film. This is an interesting development outside of Daisy Ridley as we do not know who else will be in the film as of yet.

The New Jedi Order film is most likely set to come out in May of 2026 and will hopefully begin filming soon by the end of this year. Many fans are excited to return to the theaters and see The Galaxy Far Far Away again on the big screen.

1. ’Moon Knight’ Season 2 Synopsis

Even though nothing has been confirmed yet regarding Moon Knight season 2, the rumors keep piling up. A new one this week gives us some insight into what the second season will be focusing on.

According to Marvel Updates on X (formerly Twitter), the second season will focus primarily on the third alter, Jake Lockley. He wasn’t introduced until the post-credits scene of the final episodes, and fans have wanted to see more of him ever since. Steven and Marc, the two alters we saw in the first season, would also return. This would be interesting to see how all three of them coexist with each other. Layla El-Faouly would also return, but it is unknown in what capacity.

It’s been a few years since the first season came out, but fans have been patiently waiting for a season 2. Moon Knight will return in some capacity in the MCU, so hopefully, he gets a second season first. There is still plenty of story to tell, especially after we were introduced to Jake in the post-credits scene. He is much more different than Steven and Marc, so I would love to see a season that is focused on him. With all the rumors coming out, hopefully, Moon Knight season 2 will get officially announced soon.
