Zack Snyder has sent Twitter ablaze with speculation after a single tweet. This morning, the director dropped a cryptic trailer along with the caption “#fullcircle.” What this could mean is very much up to debate, but there may be a simple answer.

The trailer itself reveals very little aside from the dates April 28-30. This has led to some speculation that it could be a teaser for another Snyder Con. Back in 2019, Zack Snyder held a three-night event showing director’s cuts of Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen, and Batman v Superman, along with Q&A panels, dinner, and fan interactions. The use of Darkseid in the clip may just be a tease of Zack Snyder’s Justice League as one of the films that will be shown.

Of course, this has also led to speculation of selling the Snyderverse to Netflix. While DC has announced future projects with Netflix, this idea seems much less likely. Last month, James Gunn tweeted that Zack Snyder had reached out to him to congratulate him on the new job. Gunn said that Snyder contacted him to “express his support” and that Snyder “seems really happy with the massive world-building he’s doing now.” Whatever Zack Snyder has cooking with Darkseid, we’ll have to wait until April 28th to know for sure.
