You Could Be The Owner Of An Item From The TV Series 'Friends' As Various Pieces Are Going To Auction
It’s The One Where They All Turn Thirty! And by “they,” we mean Friends. The beloved 90s sitcom started 30 years ago this September, and this anniversary is certainly going to be bittersweet. It’s the first year that the Friends cast will reminisce on their New York City counterparts after Matthew Perry’s sudden passing almost a year ago. There’s definitely going to be a lack of laughter in the air after a year without Perry on October 28.
Thirty years of magic lends itself to so many memories and episodes, so many costumes and props. The collection includes a studio reproduction of the Central Perk sign and the iconic couch from both the opening credits and the Central Perk set. The studio-made Central Perk couch is estimated to sell between $2,000-3,000, though there have already been a few early bids and the couch is already going for $4,500.
