Warner Bros. Will Debut 'The Flash' Trailer During Super Bowl LVII
Fans of Warner Bros. and DC are in for a treat. Warner Bros. is set to go all in on its most anticipated blockbuster for the new year by releasing the official trailer for the latest The Flash film during Super Bowl LVII on February 12, 2023. According to Game Rant, The Flash trailer will premiere alongside Rihanna’s halftime performance.
The Flash still has some stiff competition despite being shown during one of the biggest sporting events in America. According to Heroic Hollywood, the latest The Flash film will be hitting theaters one week after Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and two weeks before Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. With test audiences having a positive reaction to The Flash trailer, this marketing move should translate to box office success. However, the release has brought in its share of trepidation.

Photos of the trailer have shown Ezra Miller as the titular character. Yet GameRant has stated that “[Miller’s] role in the film’s pre-summer press tour is still unknown as [Miller’s] mental health and legal issues persist.” Even though Miller’s involvement is up for debate, other appearances have been confirmed. The Flash has confirmed Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck as two separate versions of Batman, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Antje Traue as Faora-Ul, and Sasha Calle as Supergirl. Additionally, Ron Livingston has been cast as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.
There are also reports that Warner Bros. Discovery “already has a script for a potential sequel to The Flash” written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, the man behind the two Aquaman movies.
The Flash premieres in theaters on June 16, 2023.
