The Newest Trailer For 'Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny' Was Just Released At Star Wars Celebration London
It appears that Star Wars Celebration is not only for Star Wars fans but also for Lucasfilm as well. A new trailer for the upcoming and potentially final adventure for everyone’s favorite archeologist in Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny was released. We get to see a little more detail behind the upcoming release like some more plot and action sequences and a little more background on what the titular “Dial of Destiny” is all about. Harrison Ford returns to the title role of Dr. Indiana Jones in what could possibly be his final run.
RELATED:
When it appears that Dr. Jones is about to retire and hang up the iconic hat and whip, he appears to be thrust back into action when his goddaughter Helena Shaw, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag and Solo: A Star Wars Story) looks to him in helping find the elusive Dial of Destiny. An artifact that appears to have eluded Indiana. Not only is Helena and Indiana looking for the item but Nazi Doctor Jurgen Voller played by Mads Mikkelson (Rogue One) and his minion Klaber played by Boyd Holbrook (Logan) are also on the hunt.
An interesting choice of music to play in the trailer in addition to the John Williams score is The Rolling Stones’ Sympathy For The Devil so could this mean the Dial has religious implications? I mean it does have the power to shape history according to Helena so clearly the Nazis would like to rewrite their history but what is driving her or even Indiana for that matter to possess something so powerful?
All will soon be revealed on June 30 with the release of the film worldwide so expect to see lots more featurettes, behind-the-scenes clips, and probably a couple of interviews.
