In this town we call home, everyone hail to new The Nightmare Before Christmas characters and outfits on Fortnite. When Epic Games first released Fortnite, a random mashup of popular characters from nearly every subgenre being pitted against one another in a Call of Duty-style battle, it skyrocketed into popularity, and pop culture was a phenomenon no one saw coming. With the fall season underway, the popular Fortnite adds several Halloween-themed outfits including “an eye-catching Alan Wake skin.” Wake, Alan the star in Remedy’s aptly named Alan Wake 2 in later October, will be available in Fortnite’s Item Shop during the Fortnitemares 2023 event, Epic said in their blog post.

According to the Fortnite blog, more Halloween-themed items and skins will be available in the shop. Such items include a pumpkin launcher, witch broom, wood stake shotgun, Thorne’s Vampiric Blade, and Sanguine Sweets. Players can purchase these items while donning the famous Jack Skellington Santa outfit. A fabulous combination. If the player wants to keep with The Nightmare Before Christmas theme, they can utilize the Zero Back Bling, Peppermint Parasol Pickaxe, and Jack's Sled Glider.

Wearing the Jack Skellington skin will also give players their own set of powers. Two Emotes will accompany Jack Skellington; his Scary Face Emote, already built into the Outfit, and the universal Lock, Shock, and Barrel's Tub Emote.

Everybody make a scene for the Pumpkin King and we don’t have to wait until next Halloween. The master of fright and a demon of light might compete with the Halloween slasher star Michael Myers to make players scream. No matter what, players will play Jack or Michael with all their might. Players have until November to make something great out of playing as the Pumpkin King.
