'The Mandalorian' Themed Halloween Special Coming From 'LEGO Star Wars'

While Star Wars fans have plenty of live-action content to look forward to, including the upcoming Ahsoka and Acolyte series and the second season of Andor, the franchise hasn’t lost touch with its silly side. At the San Diego Comic-Con, the LEGO Star Wars creators shared a banner with a marquee of upcoming specials. Among them was LEGO Star Wars Mandoween- Celebrate the Season. Other LEGO specials based on the Disney Princess characters, the Avengers franchise, and the popular Ninjago series were present on the banner.

No details were revealed from the special. It could take the form of a short film, a feature-length movie, or even a series of shorts. But given the title, it’s reasonable to expect it to release around September or October. The special will focus on Din Djarin and Grogu, the main characters from the hit streaming show The Mandalorian. With Bo Katan’s ascended role in the latest season, she may play a major role in the special as well. While waiting for this new arrival, viewers can catch up on other seasonal specials with The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, LEGO Star Wars: Terrifying Tales, and LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation, all currently available on Disney+.
