The Full Trailer For 'Teen Wolf: The Movie' Has Been Released Ahead Of Its January Premiere
Sharpen those fangs, because Paramount+ just dropped the full trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie at the CCXP convention in Sao Paul, Brazil. Paramount+ describes the movie: “A full moon rises in Beacon Hills and with it, a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of banshees, werecoyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can both gather new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.”
Returning to Beacon Hills is Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, and Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale. Series regulars Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, Shelley Hennig, and Dylan Sprayberry will also reprise their roles. Fans will notice the obvious absence of Dylan O’Brien and Arden Cho, who played Stiles Stilinski and Arden Cho, respectively. Newcomers Amy Workman and Nobi Nakaniski round out the ensemble.

Announced in September 2021, the reunion film was ordered by Paramount+, with Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis returning to write and Russell Mulcahy, known for 1985’s Highlander, directing. Filming wrapped in mid-May with a post from the official Teen Wolf Instagram account:
Taking place nearly 13 years after the events of the series finale the trailer features a montage of the residents of Beacon Hills and where their lives are in 2026. The group discovers that Allison, who died in the series, is somehow back, with a new and terrorizing evil posed to make their lives a living hell.
Scott, even as an adult, is still the Alpha. We also see Derek who, now the sheriff of Beacon Hills, is trying to teach his son to embrace the wolf that lives inside. Lydia, who was accepted to MIT in the series, has what appears to be a high-paying job, and has clearly embraced her skills as a banshee.
Everyone begins to have visions of Allison, but they’re trying to figure out how and why. Once Allison begins to appear in human form, it’s clear that she is not the same Allison and has no recollection of Beacon Hills and the people she once knew and loved. The masked evil that may possibly be behind Allison's return is ready to take down the supernatural beings of Beacon Hills one by one. Who will be left when the fog settles?
Teen Wolf: The Movie premieres on Paramount+ on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
