The First Trailer For The New 'Wallace And Gromit' Film Is Finally Here

The iconic English claymation duo are back, and they’re coming to the BBC. Aardman Animations has unveiled a trailer for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, headed for the broadcaster this Christmas, with a future international release on Netflix. Here is a brief synopsis from the streamer: “Gromit's concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified when Wallace invents a 'smart gnome' that seems to develop an evil mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!”

Wallace and Gromit are Aardman’s most famous creations and have been around for almost forty years. Vengeance Most Fowl will also feature the return of Feathers McGraw, the main antagonist of the second Wallace and Gromit short The Wrong Trousers. Wallace and Gromit have had a connection to the BBC for a long time, with the public broadcaster airing most of the franchise’s short films and spin-offs over the years. This British duo seems poised to continue going for a long while yet, though only Aardman knows just what is in store for them in the future.
