Max teased a return to the Kingdom of Westeros with a teaser trailer for the Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The 15-second teaser shows Peter Claffey putting on a helmet and cuts to an administrative figure who asks his name. We see a brief shot of Dexter Sol Ansell’s Egg. Then Claffey answers, “I’m Ser Duncan the Tall.” Ser Duncan is the titular Dunk from George R.R. Martin’s Tales of Dunk & Egg, the show’s source material.

The show’s official synopsis reads, “A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros…a young, naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. Set in an age where the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.
