The Cast Of 'Shazam: Fury Of The Gods' Will Write A Tie-In Comic For DC

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of DC’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods in March. It is the sequel to Shazam! which premiered in 2019. The first film received good reviews and has a 90% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, it also looks like the Shazam! family will be getting a spotlight in the comics.

DC has officially announced that it will be releasing a 96-page giant tie-in comic that will arrive several weeks before the film is released in theaters. It will be tilted Shazam! Fury of the Gods Special: Shazamily Matters #1 and will be in part written by members of the case and screenwriter.

Members of the cast that are assisting in the writing of the comic include Zachary Levi (Shazam), Grace Caroline Currey (Mary), Ross Butler (superhero Eugene), D.J. Cotrona (superhero Pedro), Adam Brody (superhero Freddy, and Faithe Herman (Darla). The 96-page comic will feature stories of all your favorite characters as written by the actors who play them.

In the comic, you will see characters battle zombies, befriend dinosaurs, try to get a phone signal in a world of barbarians, and explore glitter land, all before the film is scheduled to be released on March 17, 2023.
