The Budget For Each Episode Of 'Percy Jackson And The Olympians' Is On Par With 'The Mandalorian'
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is bringing Rick Riordan’s tales of modern myths to our homes via Disney+. As the release draws ever closer each day, more and more details about the show’s production are coming to the forefront.
One of these details is the show’s budget, a new report from DiscussingFilm on X (formerly Twitter) has announced that the show’s budget will be “between $12M and $15M per episode”, which they then compared to The Mandalorian’s budget. The Mandalorian was a big success for Disney+, so it will be interesting to see Percy Jackson try and copy its budget.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is coming to Disney+ on December 20, 2023, and consists of eight episodes adapting the first book, The Lightning Thief.
This season will focus on Percy as he discovers his origins and goes on a quest to recover Zeus’s master lightning bolt. The episodes are stated to be hour long, though we haven’t had confirmation on that yet. This is the second attempt at adapting the Percy Jackson book, the first being film adaptations directed by Chris Columbus of Lightning Thief and Sea of Monsters.
