Dee Bradley Baker gave an interview to The Hollywood Reporter at the beginning of June talking about his extensive career as a voice actor in Star Wars. Baker voices every clone in Star Wars, from Fives to Gregor. He famously films each episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch flipping between each character easily, as if he is talking to himself.

Baker reportedly voiced twenty-two different parts in the final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. He shares a genuine love for all the clones but stated that his favourite is Wrecker.

“I’d want to be Wrecker — he’s a big, strong, confident, fun-loving boy who’s warmhearted, who’s supportive and who just kind of knocks around and has a great time. He’s such an appealing, bright spirit.”

However, hugely, Baker let slip in the interview that he will be receiving an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Crosshair in the final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. This is well deserved for a series that consistently achieved high-quality performances and storytelling. This will not be Bradley Dee Baker’s first time that he’s received recognition for his voice acting. In 2017 he was nominated for playing a talking goldfish in American Dad.

Dee Bradley Baker has worked on twenty-nine Star Wars projects, since landing his first gig on Star Wars: Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy. Since 2003, (in addition to the clones) Baker has played a range of iconic parts from The Frog Lady in The Mandalorian to Boba Fett in The Force Unleashed video game series. His tally is only likely to rise, as he has projects in the pipeline. Dee Bradley Baker is the voice of Nix in Star Wars: Outlaws which is due to be released at the end of August 2024. It’s hard to imagine anyone else portraying the clones, so fingers crossed that they will be back at some point.  Let’s hope it’s soon.
