'Star Wars Hunters' Is Finally Here And Fans Can Find It On Mobile Devices And Nintendo Switch

Star Wars Hunters by Zynga and Lucasfilm Games is a new and free-to-play game that offers a diverse range of character options. The game features recognizable battlefields, such as the second Death Star and the Skywalker stomping grounds in the sand of Tatooine. Players can choose their Hunter and transport them into one of the many battlefield locations, each with their own special moves, abilities, and powerups. This 4v4 competitive battle arena game sets players up to partner with a vast array of new characters based on the familiar Star Wars archetypes fans adore, such as a Wookiee named Grozz, two Jawa brothers who go by Utooni, and more!

Star Wars: Hunters is now available on the most popular gaming platforms-mobile devices and Nintendo Switch. The Official Launch Trailer can be found on YouTube with the caption, “Enemies one match, allies the next. The crowd is fired up. Are you ready to battle? The trailer opens with the iconic black galaxy. The camera appears to span downward as a crowd cheers in the background. The arena comes into focus with Bozz announcing, “Welcome to Vespaara!” Grozz, the Wookiee appears on screen and is ready to fight. Bozz says again, “Where sith…” Rieve, a dark side assassin, wields a red lightsaber. LX1 completes Bozz’s sentence, “And Jedi.” J-3DI, a Jedi droid with a blue lightsaber joins Rieve. Bozz picks back up with, “Can fight side by side.” J-3DI bows to Rieve and she rolls her eyes. Meanwhile, a Mandalorian Vanguard, Aran Tal passes Imara Vex, a bounty hunter as LX1 says “Where rivals rub elbows.” Jawas known collectively as Utooni fire a laser and LX1 says “And victory is in your hands,” as Zaina, a rebel war hero checks her DL-44 blaster pistol. Next up is Sentinel, an Imperial Heavy Gunner. Sentinel’s special abilities include summoning two fellow stormtroopers to drop in and fire at his enemies.

Clips highlight the characters a bit more, and then Bozz says, “Settle your grudge or put it aside for the good of the squad.” The next scene shows Grozz, Aran Tal, Zaina, and J-3DI strutting down a hallway. A fight clip follows, and then Rieve, Imara Vex, Utooni, and Sentinel make their way into battle. LX1 says, “Enemies one match allies the next.” Bozz can be heard in the voiceover saying, “The feed is live.” Fireworks display full of vibrant blue and pink flits on the horizon while Zaina looks on, and LX1 announces, “The crowd is fired up.” Bozz concludes with, “The show is about to begin! Are you ready?”
